Our team was invited to a pipe ceremony  in Muskoday First Nation - receiving an invitation to attend a ceremony is a rare honour. There were three pipe carriers, an elder, knowledge keepers and two Chiefs present. When we arrived, we were told the reason for the ceremony.

The reason everyone gathered for the ceremony is because they feel our team is carrying too great a burden - that we deeply feel the pain of their suffering. And so they gathered to offer prayers to the Creator. Asking the Creator to protect our team, heal us, guide us and give us strength.

This land is blessed to have these beautiful people and our country has so much to learn from them.
