Enactus reps share their story in the wake of National Championship win

It was just a couple of days ago that I reached out to Matt Hutchinson, faculty advisor for Enactus Lambton College, who graciously made room in his always busy days to sit down with me and Courtney Neilson, one of about 30 students who is “changing the world” through their generosity and vision.

Courtney Neilson and Matt Hutchinson proudly display the 2018 Enactus Championship trophy.

Indeed, the Enactus team at Lambton just a few days earlier was named National Champions at the 2018 Enactus National Exposition, which took place in Toronto, beating out 47 other universities and 20 colleges from across the country to take the top spot.

The three-day event welcomed more than 1,200 delegates including the country’s brightest university and college students, academic professionals and top Canadian CEOs as they showcased their community outreach projects and business ventures through rounds of live competition.

I was able to have a great conversation with both Matt and Courtney, who explained what it means—personally and professionally—to be involved in such a great organization.

Enjoy our conversation and be sure to share with your network!
